There was a time, not so long ago, when the last descriptor imaginable for B.C. politics would have been: boring. However, the provincial election of 2020, culminating in balloting on Oct. 24, may well confirm a new direction for the province’s politics, historically characterized by fierce partisanship, intense polarization and larger-than-life personalities.
